Work
The software company "Open Mind" contracted us to generate
a completely new concept for their exhibition stand.
The focal point was the computer workstations. The primary challenge was
to integrate the clumsy looking hardware (in comparison to today's equipment)
to give an open, airy atmosphere. The desired effect was achieved by utilising
4m high sails, in a transparent material, set up at angles.

Two
visualisations were produced according to specified plans for the rebuilding
of the Paulaner-Keller on the Nockherberg in Munich.
One visualisation shows a view of the entrance area from the street, the
other a view of the beer garden in the inner courtyard. The difficulty was
in incorporating the large collection of trees in the inner courtyard into
the rendered image.
The ergonomic draughtsman's stand is designed to be used
whilst working at a drawing board.
The 5 individual castors are designed to automatically lock utilising
the draughtsman's weight as soon as he/she sits down.
The spring acts as an extension of the spine thus keeping the body moving
and improving the posture.

The
Austrian customer "Blizzard Ski" had the exhibition theme "Power-Station"
for the "Ispo 1999".
The realisation of the stand utilised technical materials such as glass
and steel. The ski model presentation formed a 3 dimensional element that
guided the visitors into the exhibition.

Design
of a presentation display concept for the Landeszentralbank Bayerns based
in Munich.
The presentation subject was the comparison of money forgery methods to
the legal production methods.
We were awarded the 3rd prize for our work and the title "SCHEINWEG"
with the double meaning describing both sides of the business.
Thesis subject : The conversion of an agricultural building into a New
Media Centre - Mediamorphose.
A museum, training centre and concert hall were brought together to provide
a "new media" experience under one roof.
This involved the definition & layout of the exterior, interior architectural
and design elements, and the conceptual proposals for the building itself.
The logistics company's P&O Trans European primary project requirement
was to provide sufficient display area for graphic and text information.
This was achieved be designing 3m high lens shaped columns, similar to
a Litfass Column, enabling the information to be "transmitted"
in all directions. The columns were also so arranged to provide screening
for a conference area.
The
first time that the software company FurniNET exhibited at the International
Furniture Exhibition in Cologne presented the requirement to generate the
maximum effect on a minimal budget.
The company Logo was used to as the basis for the floor plan and colour
scheme for the exhibition stand.
A
building at the Ostertor in Bremen was modelled on the basis of an existing
design. Details of the adjoining buildings were also modelled in order to
show the incorporation of the planned building into the surrounding area.
The imaginary camera approaches the building slowly in an animated film,
glides along the facade and finally moves inside the building.
The
project "3D-Studio-Max" was produced during studies at the Wildner
Akademie.
A presentation film which was used at various international trade fairs
was produced for Fa. Hundegger (wood-processing equipment).
The film shows an animated journey through the various stations in the wood-processing
equipment.

The
Brand Academy in Munich is a training centre belonging to the BMW Group.
The three brands BMW, MINI and Rolls Royce as well as the topic of brands
per se are intended to be explained to the employees in a fun way.
The reception area of the Brand Academy, the so-called Plaza, is white throughout
and can be bathed in various colour moods by RGB colour lighting.
The exhibition "Clean Energy" was planned and executed for
the "Traffic Centre" area of the Deutsches Museum in Munich.
The exhibition shows the technology behind a hydrogen-powered vehicle.
The background physics of the complex topic were demonstrated to visitors
in a fun way at various stations. The client was the BMW Group.
The
BMW Group commissioned a design for the Autosalon 2003 in Geneva from the
Austrian group of architects Coop Himmelblau.
The office for trade-fair planning was responsible for the planning and
supervised the building.
The material GRP, distinguished by light weight and at the same time strength,
was used for the curved floors and ceilings.
The trade-fair stand for the BMW Group at the Motorshow 2003 in Tokyo
is subdivided into the areas BMW, MINI and Rolls Royce.
The MINI area is characterized by oversized backlit writing and frames.
Lenticular images (a type of hologram) give visitors a constantly changing
image of the trade-fair stand.
The
planned modification of the arts centre "Gasteig" in Munich
was visualised by Rakete GmbH.
The design of a Munich architect was modelled using the CAD program Nemetschek
and rendered using 3D-Studio-Max. The rendered image was subsequently
inserted into a photo of the current Gasteig and retouched using Photoshop.
